How does it work?

To choose your own capsule wardrobe, take a look at our maternity collection and/or our nursing collection, and
choose a minimum of 2 items, or a £10 spend, and then check out. Orders above £30 have free shipping and we charge £6 for shipping below £30, which also includes return shipping when you finish your subscription. The cost of the items is the monthly rental fee, so when you checkout you will pay the rental fee for your first month, which won't start until the day after you receive your capsule.

We'll also email you a request to set up a direct debit mandate via Go Cardless, which will enable us to take your future monthly payments. So, for example, 2 items at £5 each will cost £10 plus £6 shipping for the first month, and will then be £10 per month after that.
When will I receive my capsule?

We will get your capsule ready straight away and it should be ready to send within 1-2 business days of placing your order. We send by DPD which usually arrives the next day but it can take a little longer. Smaller orders will be sent by Evri and will take a few days to arrive. In both cases you'll receive a tracking link and delivery updates. We do need you to set up your direct debit mandate before we can send your capsule, so please make sure that you set this up as soon as possible to avoid any delay in receiving your capsule.

Is there a minimum rental period?

There is currently no minimum rental period, you can return your capsule whenever you like!

How does the bespoke maternity capsule work?
​
The bespoke capsule is a little different to the above. It costs £30 upfront and you'll have an initial consultation by phone so that we can find out all about you - not just your clothes size but your height, body shape and the colours and styles that you like - so that we can find clothes that you will enjoy wearing and which will fit with your current wardrobe.

We will then go away and do the hard work for you! We will hand pick and send you at least 9 items from good quality brands such as Seraphine, Isabella Oliver, JoJo Maman Bébé and Mamalicious, which will arrive clean and ready to wear. Take 7 days to try everything on and choose your favourites! Send back any surplus items using our free returns portal. The rental costs will start after the 7 days and are detailed in your packing note and on our website but most items are £5/month (rental costs are in addition to the £30 fee). If anything doesn't fit or isn't right for any reason, we will swap it free of charge.

What if something doesn't fit?

If something doesn't fit or isn't right for any reason, just pop us an email at hello@bellesandbabes.co.uk within 7 days of receiving your capsule and we will swap it for just the cost of postage (£3 for one item). Just take a look at the website and let us know what you'd like to order, or if you'd like a different size.

How do I order swaps?
​
After the first 7 days, you can pay to swap your items at any time, for example if the weather changes, your bump grows, or you just fancy a change! To order swaps, just place your order on the website. The cost to swap is the price shown on the website so, for example, 2 new items at £5 each will cost £10. Shipping is £6 or free for orders over £30, which includes delivery of the new items and a return label for the items you're returning.

We will know that you're an existing customer and will automatically include a returns label. Just be sure to return the items you don't want within 7 days of receiving the new ones, otherwise we will assume that you are keeping everything and your monthly rental fee will go up too!

How does swapping work?
​
We always send your new items first, so you don't have to send anything back until the new ones arrive. We send large orders by DPD and smaller deliveries by Evri, and we always include a returns label and instructions inside for sending your returns back. You just need to reuse the bag, pop the label on and drop it off for return within 7 days (we always list your nearest one on your packing note).

Can I order extra items?
​
Yes of course, ordering extra items is just like ordering swaps and costs exactly the same at the time of ordering. All you need to do is order new items and not send anything back, and we will adjust your monthly rental fee. It helps if you can let us know that you're adding these items on, either by emailing us or popping a note in at the checkout, so that we know not to include a returns label!

How do I move on to the nursing capsule wardrobe?
​
We've designed our subscription so that it is easy to move seamlessly across to our nursing subscription from our maternity subscription. When your due date is coming up we'll email you a discount code so that you can swap your capsule wardrobe for nursing items for only £6 postage. You can change the number of items in your capsule too, and we will just adjust your monthly rental fee. It works just like swapping, so you'll receive the new items with a return label and instructions for returning the items you don't want.

What if something is stained, damaged or lost?
​
Wear and tear is covered in your subscription, so don't worry about small stains or minor damage that occurs from normal everyday wear of the clothes. We still ask you to send everything back as we can often remove stains and make repairs. For any items that are missing, we will charge you the replacement cost of the item, and we charge £3 for missing ties/belts for dresses etc, so please make sure that you send these back with your capsule.
How do I cancel my subscription?

We will send return instructions 2 weeks before your due date, but you can cancel your subscription at any time - just log in to your membership area (or become a member if you aren't already) and from there you can access the returns portal and generate a free returns label. Or you can email us and we will send you a link directly to the returns portal. We will automatically cancel your payments when we receive your capsule back, or you can email us to let us know that you've sent it back. If you're sending your capsule back close to your next payment date, we recommend emailing us as returns can take a little while and we need about 4 days' notice to cancel your direct debit.
